It’s the first week of March and The Wine Mill looks beautiful coated in some fresh fallen snow! It is a scene we haven’t been accustomed to this winter! This weeks temperatures are predicted for the 60’s and 70’s and that means Springtime!┬áLast week we rejoiced with the blooming of purple Crocus’s in the garden! We are anticipating putting the patio furniture back out – seeing the water wheel turn again and welcoming all of our great customers back for our second season. I am ready to fill the gardens and watch it come to full bloom for the summer.

We are changing the menu – just a bit. The dips, sliders, and mason jar salads are so popular, that you’ve asked to keep them available. We are glad that you love the sharing concept and come back looking for your favorites.

The dessert section now features our S’mores Skillet – loads of gooey chocolate and toasted marshmallows, served hot with Graham Crackers and Strawberries. Last week we had a customer that enjoyed it with a bottle of our House Toschi Cabernet to end their evening after catching a movie! There is also a NEW Orange Dreamcicle Layer Cake that is light and refreshing and served with Strawberry Swirl local Ice Cream.

We’ve been also trying some different features – Apple Brie Chicken over Artisan greens with fresh fruit and Raspberry Vinaigrette is one that you’ve asked to add to our menu – like all of our items – plenty for one- perfect for two. Mini Reuben’s will magically appear on St. Patricks day and we will track the response to see if they become a permanent item.
